About Us
Rubber Duckiee is a London-based graphic design and website development studio led by our Founder and Creative Director James Pirret.
We have over ten years’ experience in providing graphic design and website development services to organisations across a wide variety of sectors. We are proud that many of our clients have been clients for many years, with our team becoming an extension of their own.
How we work with you:
Collaborating with you
Every client is unique. Some have a very clear concept of what they want, while others want more guidance or challenge. Either way, collaboration is essential to achieve the best outcome.
We take our inspiration from you – your ethos, mission and vision. We will work closely with you, building upon your initial idea and making regular contact throughout the project’s lifetime.
Devoting time from the outset to fully understand the strategic and economic goals of a project is key to building a successful relationship and delivering an optimal service in the long term.
In a world where time is precious and all actions must be justified, we endeavour to anticipate your needs and provide the most efficient and effective solutions to your challenges.
Drawing upon our expertise
A variety of organisations have come to depend on us for both graphic design and web development work because they know we are experts in our field. Our designers are professional, experienced and focused, bringing with them a flair that never fails to impress.
We are trusted by companies, both large and small, to deliver projects on time and to all the specified criteria. In every case, we strive to exceed expectations.
The Process
While every client is different, our commitment, drive, creative process and ability to produce results remains the same for each project we undertake:
- Collaboration – building working relationships
- Conception – developing the original idea
- Creation – bringing the project to life
- Correction – reviewing and finalising amendments
- Completion – launching the final project
Why work with Rubber Duckiee?
Because you want results, and so do we. Yes, we produce outstanding creative work, but we also recognise its purpose is to achieve your business objectives, whether that be to increase your sales, communicate a message or raise awareness of your brand.
That’s why we invest in analytics as much as we do aesthetics. We know first impressions count for everything and that understanding the psychology of design is key – after all, this is what sets us apart from our competitors.
Why are we called Rubber Duckiee?
People tend to remember things based on what they are associated with rather than what they are, and this can be an incredibly powerful marketing tool when creating a memorable brand or name. Rubber Duckiee uses an emotional association that invokes happy memories. We generally find people don’t forget our name!
James Pirret
Creative Director
James’ passion for design started while on work experience with the marketing team at Shell. Having the opportunity to shadow some of the best creatives in the industry helped him develop an understanding of how design influences people, and how they absorb information.
This experience guided him to study and graduate in Media, Technology and Business. James then began work as an Account Executive for a leading planning communications agency. After two years working in communications, James’ experience and love of design compelled him to set up his own design house, and Rubber Duckiee was born.
Using a blend of experience, natural flair and technological know-how, James focuses his efforts within Rubber Duckiee on improving the standard of consultations, while always striving to be cost-effective. Rubber Duckiee has been the designers behind many impressive planning consultations, but none more so than the EDF Energy Nuclear Power Station, Sizewell C.
Since its inception, Rubber Duckiee has expanded to include branding and web development, with a focus on technology-led websites for national and international organisations – while always remaining true to its core business.
